ITS in Europe Congress and Exhibition
The 7th European Congress and Exhibition on Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) will be held 4-6 June 2008 at the Palexpo Convention Centre in Geneva, Switzerland. The Congress is organised by ITS Congress Association in co-operation with ITS Switzerland, the Swiss Confederation and the Canton of Geneva on behalf of ERTICO - ITS Europe. Now in its 7th year, the event expects to attract delegates from all over Europe and the Middle East.
The 2008 event theme is ITS for Sustainable Mobility. The Congress will present the strategic vision through to the technical implementation of ITS applications, from research and planning to the operational use of systems and services.
Alongside the Congress, an exhibition will showcase world-class suppliers and present their latest ITS innovations including advanced vehicle control systems, travel information and traffic management systems, digital mapping, public transport applications, smart card and communication technology.
